Various Weapons Systems software will be evaluated. These include:
precision Fires, NLOS-LS, AFTDS, and Future Combat System. Candidate will
perform software verification and validation (V&V) processes to determine
whether the development products of a given activity conform to the
requirements of that activity and whether the software satisfies its
intended use and user needs.
Perform V&V processes that encompass software-based systems, computer
software, hardware, interfaces, firmware, microcode, and documentation.
Assist
with routine assignments that normally require conferring with end users to
analyze requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be
manipulated and summarized, and how reports are to be formatted.
Assist
with preparing descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps
required to develop or modify computer capabilities.
Analysis, evaluation, review, inspection, assessment, and testing of
software products.

A Bachelors degree in Engineering, Math, Physics or Computer Science plus 2
to 7 years of direct experience is required or equivalent combination of
experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and
abilities. This effort requires good analytical and communications Skills –
written and oral.
Knowledge of one or more computer languages is required.
