Administers the
Materiel Test Directorate’s badge system in use at the Future Combat Systems
(FCS) Test Operations Complex (TOC) (Bldg 90121). The administration of the
FCS badge system involves processing a wide variety of transactions.
Incumbent performs a full range of duties in support of the office.
Incumbent performs work consisting of duties involving several related
steps, processes and methods in administering the badge system, including
receiving visitors, routine mail, gathering and consolidating information
from files, preparing a variety of badge accountability reports, maintaining
records, and answering questions.
b. Performs
systems administrator duties of the Hirsch Access Control System using
MOMENTUM management software for access control and security operations.
Performs a variety of duties in support of badging and access control
operations including badge coding and issuance and management of access pin
numbers within the Test Operations Complex. Maintains a computerized
database of personnel authorized in multiple restricted access areas.
c. Performs security
assistant tasks as directed by the MT Test Officer or NCI security
specialist assigned to MT, or as required in the MT Test Operations Complex
security manual and security SOPs. As directed, provides assistance and
administrative support to the MT Test Officer and MT Test Engineering
Staff. Maintains the MT Test Operations Complex inspection schedule
annotating scheduled, and after-hour inspections. The status and final
outcome must be maintained on file to include the closing of the
inspection. Answers telephonic queries providing technical and security
information based on personal knowledge and experience or routing the query
to appropriate security specialist.
d. Prepares security correspondence as required performing security
assistant duties (i.e., e-mail queries, badge reports, security incident
reports, etc.,). Briefs visitors regarding policy on photography, access
controls, key control, physical security of personal and government
equipment, and other security topics deemed appropriate for each respective
visit.
